Canadian Funds
All prices quoted are in Canadian funds. We offer fair exchange on U.S. currency.
Rates Quoted Per Person Per Week
Prices quoted are per person from our seaplane base on the Chapleau River and are quoted based on a 7-day stay. 4-day trips either begin or end on a regular camp change day. Discount is 15%.
Party Of 4 or More
Rates are based on a party size of 4 or more.  Small Party Charge: Parties of 3 add $80.00 per person. Parties of 2 add $125.00 per person. The small party charge applies to camps with a minimum of 2. If you book a camp with a minimum of 4 you must pay for at least 4 people. On some lakes. discounts may be available for large parties. One boat and motor is provided for each 2 adults. If an odd-size party wishes the extra boat and motor, the charge is $125.00 per week. Please try to avoid a party size of 5 adults. Since a party of 3 is paying a small party charge, they can use 2 boats.
Family Rates
We offer Family Rates on minimum parties of 4, which include at least 2 adults. Children under 12 yrs are 1/2 price, and children 12 - 16 yrs are 3/4 fare. Child weight allowance is based on the percentage of the rate they pay. Boats and motors will be provided according to the number of adult fares paid. Family rates do not apply to Rice Lake Camp due to flying distance. 
Rates Include
Flight to and from camp, mid-week check flight, equipped housekeeping cabin, boat and motor for each 2 adults, plus all outboard motor fuel. For more information, see our We Supply page.
Rates exclude fishing licenses and applicable taxes. For more information, see our You Supply page.
Weight Limit
 Parties of 6 or more: 150 lbs per adult - parties of less than 6 100 lbs per adult. Overweight charge is $.35 per pound. Children's weight limit is the same percentage as the adult rate that they pay.
Deposits
$100.00 per person to confirm reservations. Minimum deposit of $400.00. We also require a cabin retainer deposit of $100.00, refunded when the cabin, equipment and boats are left clean.
Payment is accepted in CASH or TRAVELLERS CHEQUES, prior to departure from Chapleau. PERSONAL CHEQUES ARE ACCEPTED FOR DEPOSITS ONLY. No personal cheque will be accepted for final payment, unless received 30 days prior to departure.
Make checks payable to John Theriault Air Ltd. We accept U.S. Funds and will give an exchange rate comparable to Canadian Banks.
Refunds/Cancellations
Deposits are refundable if cancellation is received in writing 120 days prior to scheduled arrival. We are not responsible for expenses incurred because of weather related delays in flight schedules. |
